Bree Salazar

Bree (she/they) creates intentional space for community to be guided through transformative and accessible outings on the land.

With their known lineages originating from various parts of Turtle Island, their family settled on Tongva lands in so-called Los Angeles. Her work expands across habitats. From chaparral to tidepools, from Joshua tree deserts to great basin salt lakes, from redwood forests to subalpine meadows, from city parks to farms & gardens! Bree is prepared and excited to connect people to place and people to people.

Bree is passionate about contributing to the healing and mobilizing of our communities by way of restoring relationships with our Earth and following the lead of Indigenous land defenders. They create opportunities to honor our identities and lineages, all while orienting ourselves as guests on stolen land.

Bree believes that, in being bonded with the cycles, patterns, rhythms, and language of the Earth, powerful shifts are possible.
She is almost always singing aloud a tune, even on a mountaintop, but mostly behind the wheel of her van.
